The Salon du Brasseur in Nancy - 2018

Philippe MARTIN and Antoine WUCHNER, manning the HOP France stand, presented the aromatic Alsatian varieties to the many visitors to this trade fair looking for information.

We were able to answer their questions regarding:

- The choice of varieties for their future recipes

- The shortage of organic hops and ways to remedy it (second and third year hop conversion)

- Acquisition of plants for those working in the sector, new planters and brewers and the terms and conditions of their use

All this was washed down by samples of two beers (in moderation).

- A MISTRAL IPA from the Mont Salève brewery (Haute-Savoie)

- A BARBE ROUGE IPA from the Research Brewery St. Johann in Germany
