IHGC report July 2022 - Hop areas in the world down - 1%

Highlights:

• -1% in surface acreage (-714 hectares)
• Stability in Germany, increase in Russia, decrease in Ukraine
• Increase in the cost of cultivation reported unanimously: energy, phytosanitary products, labor
• Stocks are increasing
• Energy supply uncertainties, environmental policies
• Concerning the harvest in the northern hemisphere which lists most of the surfaces, we are expecting the summer with various situations in Europe and the USA.
