Features of Craft Brewers Conference - 2019

Francis HEITZ, Val PEACOCK and Antoine WUCHNER presented the Alsatian aromatic varieties and the “FLAVOR” range, including BARBE ROUGE, MISTRAL and, for the first time, the new ELIXIR.

We managed to stand out from the rest by offering some UNIQUE beers which were given the thumbs-up by our visitors.

It was just too good an opportunity for them to miss to come and sample beers different than the IPAs they are used to, which a lot of people described to us as all very similar, offered at the other “beer stations”.

- An IPA with BARBE ROUGE, expressing all the red fruit aromas, brewed by Three Floyds Brewing, MUNSTER, Indiana - USA

- The ARAMIS Gypsy Squid Pils, brewed by the Oskar Blues Brewery, FORT COLLINS, CO – USA

- A Brut IPA with MISTRAL, with floral aromas typical of this hop, brewed by the Urban Chestnut Brewery, ST. LOUIS, MO - USA

- A Lager with TRISKEL, commented upon for its hints of pineapple, brewed by the Odell Brewing Company, FORT COLLINS, CO – USA

- A Lager with ELIXIR, expressing the tropical fruit character of this hop, brewed by the Crux Brewery, BEND, OR – USA

We met with a number of prospects and clients.

This beer fair also gave us the opportunity to take stock of the constantly changing American market, which is bracing itself for some harder times ahead.
