Features of Comptoir Agricole at DRINKTEC 2017

The DRINKTEC fair, worldwide gathering of the beverage industry, takes place every 4 years in September in Munich. This fair alternates with the Braubeviale, which takes place every year in Nuremberg, in November. For all project leaders and concerned actors, it’s an opportunity to discover on the spot the technology breakthroughs of the brewing industry in particular.

As indicated in our newsletter at the beginning of the month, the Drinktec 2017 week provided Comptoir Agricole with the opportunity:

  • To launch its HOP France brand
  • To present its new communication strategy: Hop Flavor Designer
  • To promote the Flavor varieties of its range – Mistral and Barbe Rouge -

Created in 2017, Hop France by Comptoir agricole brand is a response to the production demands of both farmers and brewers. In fact, the producer’s local production is enhanced by the quality label, to the clients' benefit, and it also offers Comptoir agricole the means of supporting French hop on the export markets where it is present.

All the visitors noted the new communication strategy: the stand bearing the HOP France design, reflecting the new communication strategy, and the futuristic data sheets (LAYAR application to download).

Philippe MARTIN, Francis HEITZ and Antoine WUCHNER were present on the stand to participate with their clients in the beer tasting of the leading varieties of the range:

  • KÖLSCH with Mistral brewed by 3 FLOYDS BREWING Co (USA)
  • IPA with Barge Rouge, also brewed by 3 FLOYDS BREWING Co (USA)
  • APA with Aramis, brewed by the MONT SALEVE brewery (France)
  • IPA with Triskel, brewed by the experimental St JOHAN brewery in Germany
  • IPA with GS10, brewed by the experimental St JOHAN brewery in Germany

The guest of honor: GS10, hop, quite possibly the next variety from the research plan to be put on the market, with a very impressive brew. Its taste is quite remarkable: citrus orange – grapefruit, combined with black currant and pineapple, along with pine resin aroma.
