Features of LA PITOUNE won with TRISKEL

After 15 years of increasing success in Montreal, the ‘’Mondial de la Bière’’ has been exploring Europe since a few years, before also visiting Brazil next year.

One of the major events of the festival is the ‘’Pierre Celis M Beer contest’’.

Among the 10 Gold medals, we can find La Pitoune from Trou du Diable, Shawinigan, Quebec.

This German inspired Lager is the first winning beer brewed with the new Triskel hop. This golden color beer is slightly cloudy topped with a delicate foam.

Triskel provides nice fresh grass notes, spicy and well balanced aromas. Slightly bitter and not very sweet, this beer is harmonious between bitterness and 5% abv.

La Pitoune is brewed by single infusion mash and low temperature fermentation. This beer is very refreshing and drinkable.
