Bayou Teche Brewing

A US brewery with French inspirations.

Bayou Teche Brewing was born in 2009 under the leadership of the Knott brothers: Karlos, Byron and Dorsey. They dreamed of creating a beer that would pair with the Cajun cuisine

It is in Louisiana, where the French influence is still strong. This is why Bayou Teche uses also French raw material. The usage of the French hops Strisselspalt and Aramis is much more important at Bayou Teche Brewing than in most U.S. breweries.

or this new recipe, "Saison d’Ecrevisses", literally "Crayfish Season", the Knott brothers use a distinctive French yeast and the Aramis hop for its nice bitter qualities.
