Features of The Comptoir Agricole in The 2015 edition of the CBC

The 2015 edition of the CBC (Craft Brewers Conference) took place this April in PORTLAND – OR, USA.

Francis HEITZ, Val PEACKOCK and Antoine WUCHNER presented the aromatic Alsatian varieties, including the new BARBE ROUGE.

It was an opportunity for the close to 11,000 participants (a 20% increase over last year) to get an idea of the aromas of this new variety by tasting (with moderation) the "seasonal single hop BARBE ROUGE" specially brewed this year by the Urban Chestnut Brewery in St LOUIS - MO, USA, available at the traditional "beer station".

The Comptoir Agricole was also inviting Brewers to discover (with moderation, as always) the "Pils Single Hop ARAMIS – YELLA" from the Oskar Blues Brewery in LONGMONT – CO, USA. This beer was a great success, due to its fine aroma.

Once again, the American craftbrewery market demonstrated its inherent dynamic nature during the event, taking place for the first time over 3 days.

Contacts were very productive and we were very impressed by the number of craftbreweries who now use our varieties. They explained the beers they brew now stand apart from beers present on the US market, largely because of their fine bitterness as well as the diversity of their aromas.
