The Comptoir Agricole in Japan

The Comptoir Agricole participated on March 13, 2015 in a seminar organized by its Japanese distributor SKW East Asia Limited on the occasion of the « Snow Monkey Beer Live 2015 » held in Shigakogen (Japan).

Against a background of strong growth of the Japanese microbrewery market, no less than 15 of these brewers were present to hear Francis HEITZ present the main varieties of aroma tic hops from Alsace (Strisselspalt, Aramis, Triskel and Barbe Rouge).

Each presentation of a variety was an opportunity to taste a beer brewed with the corresponding hop:

• PERLE: A Pils beer from the Artzner brewery – France(Strisselspalt)
• Single Hop Aramis: A Pils beer from the Urban Chestnut brewery – St Louis Missouri USA (Aramis)
• CABRIO: A Pils beer from the Cabrio brewery – France (Triskel)

There were many exchanges in the course of this seminar, the Japanese all eager to discover products of French origin, which stand for quality and fine taste precisely because of their origin.

The day ended with the discovery of beers brewed particularly for this occasion, in a friendly and live musical atmosphere.
