Val PEACOCK, former "hop gourou" of Anheuser Bush, currently owner and CEO of Hop Solutions Inc. who manages the Hop Quality Group in the USA, contributed to share his expertise of the French hops to the US Craft Brewers during these three days
Francis HEITZ: "we were pleasantly surprised by the number of breweries already knowing and using our new varieties. Considering their characteristics, there is nothing surprising about that’’. Francis HEITZ reminds that an article published recently in the New Brewer mentioned Triskel among 10 interesting hop varieties to look for this year in the USA.
Attended by over 4000 people, this show is a great opportunity to showcase our hops in the finished product.
Both Aramis and Triskel were honored in 2 fantastic brews made
Urban Chesnut Brewing Co., St Louis MO.
Francis, Florian et Jason
* In his traditional German pilsner recipe (HOP SWITCH), Brew Master Florian Kuplent and Brewer Jason featured Aramis (34 IBU). This beer was a magnificent example of what can be done with Aramis when used as a classical aroma hop. Very well balanced, this beer was able to emphasize the non-aggressive bitterness of Aramis.
* An English Ale with Triskel (EBU 27). Realized by late hopping in the kettle and in the whirlpool than by dry hopping at 600 gr/bbl for one week, this beer was the perfect example of the pleasant, harmonious citrus notes. This beer was brewed to demonstrate the high sophisticated lemon / spice aroma profile of Triskel without any lingering bitterness.
Carton Brewing Co., Atlantic Highlands, NJ
Jesse, Francis et Augie
* Carton Brewings’ Ale called B.D.G. - Brunch Dinner Grub is brewed with Aramis (EBU 45) .This beer is just the perfect Ale to combine with food. This beer confirms the lemony, tarragon/thyme notes of Aramis are very well suited to this type of beer
